Students will be designing a data table that will measure volume, length and mass of lima beans . Data table 1 will consist of Height and width of beans, data table 2 mass of the beans, after beans soaked over night. This is a 2 day lab everything due on Tuesday. (exception to first period due on Wednesday)

Students should have 7 data tables ,nice and neat, from lima bean investigation and answer 5 questions from Part 7 of lab available on website.Questions to answer:
1. What are some sources of error in this type of lab? 2. What other observable changes did you notice in your beans after you soaked them overnight? 3. Why do you think the beans changed overnight like they did? 4. What do you think would happen to the beans if they were soaked for 3 or more days? 5. When beans (and most seeds) mature on the plant, they are dry. How might this be an advantage for the survival of the plant species?
